Wolfram Schaffar

Wolfram Schaffar is professor at the Department of Development Studies at the University of Vienna and is currently a visiting fellow at the Royal Netherlands Institute of Southeast Asian and Caribbean Studies (KITLV) in Leiden, Netherlands. His research focus is on state theory, constitutionalism, social movements, and democratization in the Global South, with a regional focus on Thailand and Myanmar/Burma.
